Energy drinks are always pushing the fact that they have Guarana extract.. What in the world is it and why is it in just about every energy drink?
Guarana (pronounced gua-ra-na) is a shrub found in the Amazon Rain Forest. Guarana seeds are known to be one of the richest sources in caffeine and have almost 3 times more than coffee beans. It’s become more and more popular in America as it’s known to stimulate and increase mental alertness, fight fatigue and increase physical stamina. Some say that Guarana may supress appetite and increase the ability to burn fat. Often times, Guarana is marketed as a unique stimulant, distinct from caffeine. This is to take advantage of the fact that not many people are aware that caffeine is found in many different plants.
Be sure to never ingest too much guarana! If you experience difficulty urinating or vomiting after drinking 10 Bawls Guarana Energy Drinks than you’re more than likely experiencing a Guarana overdose. So don’t do it, but if you did… you know where to buy it.
In May of 2007 Coca-cola purchased Glaceau, the maker of Vitamin water for $4.1 billion. I find this to be a bit insane considering the experts say Glaceau is only worth half of this, more like $2 billion. It looks like they’re working on taking over the beverage industry as a whole. Word on the street is that Coca-cola is considering the purchase of the “Honest Tea” brand. We don’t know how much stake Coca-cola is interested in but if they do make the purchase, this would give them a piece of the organic industry.
Coca-cola seems to be positioning themselves for a bright future. In today’s industry the energy drink world is booming and everyone is entering. Fortunately, Coca-cola has a large piece of the market with Full Throttle, Rockstar, NOS, Enviga, and now Vitamin Energy drinks. Trends change and it looks like they’re looking to stay diversified whether it be the energy drinks, cola drinks, waters, and now organic tea drinks. They’re sure to be ready no matter which way consumers turn. I think it’s a great move and just shows that Coca-cola in my opinion will continue to be a leader.
An italian TV ad by Red Bull was yanked early this month after an ANGRY Catholic Priest thought it was “Blasphemous”. Father Demarco Damanti, from Sicily wrote Red Bull asking them to stop running it.. and well of course Red Bull had no hesitations in complying. What a bunch of sissies! Check out the video below and let us know your thoughts. It’s geared towards the Christmas season and the three wise men…
I just love the fact that the fourth “Wise Man” was not offering one can of Red Bull, but it’s obvious the guy bought in Bulk! More than likely he bought it at our store.
Kids will do the craziest things! I read a story this morning about a bunch of moron kids who broke into a Bomba Energy Drink factory warehouse where the company was storing their old outdated drinks. The kids were breaking into the facility and guzzling the drinks by the hand fulls.
Supposedly the drinks were 3 years old and could be dangerous or cause illness. Uh, you think? Could you imagine these youngsters in class all jacked up on caffeine? That’s how school yard riots break out!
I’ve tried a billion energy drinks but have yet to find one like this! I wonder if there are any “warnings” on the label… Let us know if you experience something like this. This is a commercial from an energy drink called BURN. We currently don’t stock it but the commercial itself is histerical, so let us know what you think.
